      Installing a live tag

      Here’s how to install live tags on tools and equipment

      1. Check the packaging

      Start by ensuring the following items are included:

      • Live tag
      • Double-sided tape

      2. Find IMEI nummeret 

      Locate the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number on the side of your GPS tracker. The number is 12 characters long.

      You will need the IMEI number to set up the GPS device on your account in Keatech Live.

      3. Activate your live tag

      To activate your live tag, do the following:

      Remove the cap from your Livetag.

      Press the white button next to the battery.

      When the light next to the button is illuminated, your Livetag is activated.

      IMPORTANT: Before securing your Livetag, as described in step 4, we recommend that you ensure your tag is reporting correctly. Experience from other customers tells us that it’s a good idea to take them for a 10-15 minute drive in a car equipped with a GB130 or a GV57. If the tag reports the correct positions, you can proceed to step 4.

      4. Fastgør dit Livetag

      Once your Livetag is activated, you can secure the tracking device in the following ways:

      • Screws
      • Double-sided tape
      • Adhesive

      5. Installation is complete

      You have now installed your Livetag and can check if the tracking device is active on your account in Keatech Live.
